Terms & Conditions

QUOTES

All prices are quoted on a per head basis on the specified numbers of diners.

 

If the final number of guests falls by more than 10% below the number used for the original quote, the price per head may have to be increased.

 

All quotes are valid for one month prior to acceptance.

 

Prices are valid for 12 months from the date of the confirmation of the booking.

 

In order to allow adequate preparation time, the final number of people being catered for must be submitted by email at least 10 days prior to the event and this will be the number that will be invoiced for.

 

If the diner number is exceeded then a pro-rata surcharge will apply.

 

Please note Food to Di for is NOT required to be VAT registered

 

PAYMENTS

 

A non-refundable deposit of 25% is required at the time of the booking confirmation to secure the date.

 

The balance of 75% is payable on the day of the event.

 

All payments to be made by way of a bank transfer, cash or a cheque made payable to D Harris.

CONFIRMATION

 

Acceptance of terms and conditions to be confirmed by e-mail.

 

Alternatively, payment of the deposit will be deemed as acceptance of the terms and conditions.

CANCELLATIONS

 

In the unfortunate event of cancellation, the following applies:

 

 30 days notice - the non-refundable deposit may be transferred to secure another available date.

 

14 days notice - 50% of the cost of the event would apply as a cancellation charge.

 

7 days notice - 100% of the costs of the event would apply.

 

CONDITIONS

 

It is important to us that we provide ample food for your event whilst maintaining the high quality, generous quantities and standards we strive to provide. 

For this reason we do NOT leave behind any leftover food or unused ingredients.

This also ensures compliance with our insurance coverage.

Our services are provided exclusively for the event we attend.

 

 

Every effort will be made to provide the ingredients specified on the menu. However, these may change without prior warning if unavailable and a suitable alternative will be offered.

 

Please note that we operate in a kitchen incorporating use of nuts, shellfish, ingredients containing gluten and other allergens so we CANNOT guarantee the complete absence of traces of these in food served.

 

Charges will be applied for any loss, damage or breakages to crockery, glassware, china or other equipment.

Please note Food To Di For does NOT provide any Drinks or Ice for your event.
